The Carvings

Johdan Soapstone Art sculptures are stones carved in Canada. The type of stones that I use include ; soapstone, limestone and alabaster. A huge benefit of using a variety of stones, is that this soapstone artist;  known as Johdan, can confidently say that the sculpted soapstone art pieces are all unique works of art.

All of Johdan soapstone carvings are created by one carver which ensures their uniqueness.

Carvings might highlight multiple textures. As well, multiple finishes are used regularly.  Such as; clear lacquer, mineral oil ,and bees wax.
